Faux Cycad XL

Cycads are one of the oldest plant species, with fossil records going back hundreds of millions of years. We had this in mind when designing our Faux Cycad XL - every detail was built to last. The lush, arching green fronds and scaly, textured trunk add a bold accent to any space, and because this is faux, it'll last many years without fading or warping. It's already set in a 17.5 x 17.5 x 14 cm pot that brings the whole thing up to a metre in height - perfect for placing in a corner or against an empty wall for maximum effect.

The Faux Cycad XL is that easy, lush plant that works in those big awkward spots where not much else will fit - without taking over the whole room like a full palm or bamboo might. We’re actually really pleased with how realistic this one looks. Some of these faux cycads can veer into cartoonish if you’re not careful - they get too waxy and cheap-looking on the fronds or the pot, and then customers walk straight past them. This one’s really well-done for a synthetic, especially at this price point. It’s got a very sturdy trunk that actually stands out in pink (definitely a bit of a conversation-starter), and the arms are much more subtle. The fronds are a very nice, deep green - that classic cycad look - but they catch light naturally. They hold their shape beautifully when you fan them out. We should flag it does come with an exposed concrete base, which we’re not issuing credits on for imperfections, so we do recommend topping it with faux grass or coconut fibre for display. Pot dimensions: 17.5 x 17.5 x 14 cm, total height 100cm. The main body’s made from plastic and foam. Great for offices, rental properties, or homes where people just don’t have time to keep things alive!
