Suspended from an iron linked chain, the hanging lamp Fino reminds one of the times when gaslights lit up streets and homes had to find ways to keep themselves warm with firewood - the antiquity of the design, the simplicity of the look is all rather charming and very old world - A perfect little respite in an overly ornate world of modernity. This could be the kind of lighting one could have at the patio or the backyard when that is the place to party.
Mood lighting can be done with numerous easy means and one of the best is by using large pillar candles or scented ones that can be suspended at different levels. Corners, the main dining area, the entrance of the home can all be sufficiently be lit up with such lanterns. This particular piece is all of 38 cm in height and is made of metal that forms a simple grid within which is the candle seat.
