The Hanging Starfish is one of those pieces that makes us think of summer, sand, and sandy toes. The centre starfish is shaped from wood with a smooth, matte finish - the kind of finish you expect from handcrafted pieces and the jute twine has two sets of wooden beads in white and tan paired with a matching tassel to finish it off. We were a touch surprised at how quickly this became a talking point in our office. Our Hanging Starfish is a bit of a twist on your typical beach house décor - we’ve made something you can actually hang that doesn’t remind everyone of the 90s and its weird fixation with blue glass and fishing nets. We like to think of this as a unique centrepiece for any home - one that’s 8.5x2.5x38cm and comes with unique touches like the jute rope and tassels so it’s ready to go right out of the box. This piece is mostly made with natural Schima Superba wood, making it a very real alternative to the more fake-looking pieces you see everywhere else.
