Our naval forces sacrifice so much in order to keep us safe and out of harm's way. Imagine being on the seas for several months, at times for more than a year. And when they are allowed to come on land, it is often for a short while. It is only normal to show our appreciation to them by presenting them with this small token. It is the perfect gift for their immeasurable sacrifices.
The Hanging Tug Boat Navy coloured is made of quality, carefully chipped and crafted wood. With a smooth hull, the lower part of the hull which is expected to be in the water is left unpainted while the upper part is painted with blue and white stripe; the official colours of most countries' navy. Irrespective of the nationality of the buyer, the blue and white design on a boat would be easily recognized and attributed to the navy. Presenting a Naval officer with this boat is simply a way of wishing him/her smooth sailing. And guess what? It doesn't have to be naval officers alone.
