Right, this is the sort of thing that feels really hard to find in larger shops - a kaftan that is bright and fun without being tacky and still manages to be flattering on pretty much everyone who tries it on. We picked this one out specifically because the loose yet flowy cut just makes people look good, regardless of their size or shape. It's rare for us to come across a kaftan that's comfortable but doesn't end up looking like we're hiding pyjamas under it. And this one is made from a super light-weight polyester imitation silk which drapes in all the right places (and that hemline just grazes all over the body, which is a nice touch), so you can absolutely wear it as a dress too.
We're big fans of the print too - bold reds, yellows, pinks and blues with large swirls that are also abstract enough to match pretty much any summer wardrobe (or even as a cover up for a day at the pool or at the beach). And it's machine washable too, so you don't have to worry about stains. We're getting all sorts of boho chic vibes from this one and it's probably our favourite floaty piece of clothing right now for its sheer versatility.
The fabric's slightly sheer though - just thought we'd mention it. We actually kind of like it. The more we look at it, the better it gets.
