Found this one while we were restocking the white version of this lamp. The Plantation is a bit more like an experiment in material than it is about the structure itself. It’s a new ceramic finish for us - glazed and hand-finished so you get texture, variation, and a lot of variety between every unit. We find that a lot of retailers are moving toward tactile ceramics, just because it's what clients want right now (and probably will for some time). We think this lamp hits that target. It’s not just the fact that its neutral palette means it fits anywhere - but the actual size of the thing too. It’s 42x42x65cm, and made with just concrete and linen so there aren’t any unnecessary elements to it either. It comes with that accent stripe of textured vertical lines up top too, which stands out if you pair it with clean-lined spaces or works as an accent with busier interiors.
