The very first thing that draws you in to the Lamp Royale Gold is that lovely pineapple-motif stem. It just sits there proudly - more than just a hint of tropical, but still manages to be elegantly subtle - and the textured body adds some extra flair without feeling gaudy or garish.
We've found it's surprisingly difficult to find gold lamps that hit that right balance between 'tropics-inspired' and 'unique centrepiece', but this one ticks both boxes with no trouble at all. The 56cm tall base isn't huge, so you could pop it on a console in an entryway or next to your sofa if you're going for a more modern look. A classic square-edged white linen shade balances out the curves on the rest of the piece, and that really helps it blend into almost any environment whether you're working with deep or pale neutrals, more opulent navies and ochres, or even contrasting prints and patterns.
It takes a regular Edison Screw Globe so there's no need to hunt down special bulbs for it. That might seem like a small detail but we know how much of difference can make if your clients end up popping in into different spaces when they have guests over etc., making this both beautiful AND functional.
