The Lantern Haven is a real favourite with those of us who find themselves drawn to strong lines and clean geometry - it’s simply just a well-made lantern that isn’t trying to be more than what it is and that’s fine because really, it’s quite beautiful. The matte black metal frame is classic in its trapezoidal shape, not too pronounced but quite visible, especially when contrasted by the clear glass panels. It also comes with a sturdy rounded handle that makes it easy to hang up or carry around but more than anything else, it does really quite well on surfaces and this has something to do with the way that the solid body meets the geometric form. We see this on all four faces of the Lantern Haven but particularly at the back where you can really appreciate how simple yet elegant the lines and corners are.
It’s 23x23x40cm so neither too tall nor too short - just enough presence to make itself known but never overpowering. The inside holds a candle which isn’t included but that’s not much of a problem since there is plenty of space for even large pillar candles. Since it uses glass and metal, we’re quite certain that this would work outdoors as well.
Overall, the Lantern Haven is a great lantern for retailers looking for an elegant piece to go along with most modern spaces - it does well in professional settings and would certainly stand out on office desks too.
