One of our absolute favourites - this LED Ball Whales globe is just so calming to look at. We always find it makes any shelf, bedside table, or desk feel more warm and welcoming with the 3cm wood base and 6cm glass dome. The etched detailing on the inside creates a sort of mini-universe that makes customers stop and admire, so we find these make really good cash wraps or countertop displays as well.
Spherical, clear glass ball. Cylindrical, light wood base. Intricate whale etchings inside, illuminated by a warm LED glow. We spent a good amount of time with this one before we got the idea for it. There’s a certain subtle elegance that comes from minimalistic elements like this. The combination of glass and timber has just worked so well for us in the past that it’s practically become tradition to do something like this whenever we work with anything lighting-based. This time around though, we figured it was about time we took some inspiration from the coastlines near us for the design etched within. It's not too often you see whales in stuff like this but there's a sort of grace here that's hard to beat. The dimensions are perfect for anyone looking to show these off on desks or shelves. The timber just works so well alongside both light and dark surfaces too which is nice for matching up displays and all that as well.
