Paperweight - Bird Rose

The Paperweight - Bird Rose is one of the most creative pieces that may be found on an office desk. This beautiful piece is made from a ceramic or stone-like material that is shaped like a tiny sparrow and then smoothly polished. It is eleven centimeters in length from the tip of the tail feather to the short, pointed beak, seven centimeters from the bird's back to its belly and is three centimeters thick. The base is painted in a very light, girly pink. The features of the bird, especially the eyes and beak, are quite distinct. The upper part has images of white lace doilies, making this look such a sweet little piece. On the underbelly part, a cream-coloured white rose which is not completely bloomed can be seen. It sits atop a bed of dark green leaves while smaller Pink and red flowers can be seen on the side.
