This plush blue whale might have started as a children’s plush toy but we’re seeing more people incorporate them into their living spaces as cushion accents or even in their bedrooms. The upper half of this plush comes in a vibrant blue, finished with a white ribbed belly, black and white eye detailing, and a cute red embroidery for that hint of colour. At 33x12x11cm, it’s got that ‘hug-me’ appeal that works so well for people of all ages.

We have a thing for ocean-themed kids plush toys - and our Plush Blue Whale is probably one of the softest, huggable, and fun ones we’ve seen in a while. It’s not the huge ones that can take up the whole couch - at 33x12x11cm, it’s just about right for little arms to wrap around and tote around in their rooms. Now, the thing with this one is that it has an old-school cartoon charm to it. No over-the-top features, no bright clashing colours or design - just this adorable blue whale with a ribbed white underbelly. And by blue, we really mean blue. It’s this light sky blue that comes off as very calming and welcoming, but also makes for a fun pop of colour on kid’s beds and sofa arrangements. We reckon this might make for a lovely nursery or kids’ room gift since whales are pretty popular animals in those circles. The material is this smooth fuzzy polyester on top with a stitched on little black eye so you get this really friendly plush toy that looks kind of like a cartoon whale buddy but also safe for really young kids who are teething or chewing on things!
