Here’s one that gets a genuine laugh - and a good reaction - every time we add it to a set or put it in someone’s hands. This is our Plush Yabbie, and yes, even in the world of stuffed animals it’s pretty rare to spot one of these. But rare doesn’t mean unapproachable. In fact, with its curly pink shell and just cartoon-enough eyes (but not too much), this Plush Yabbie is an adorable take on the classic Australian yabbie.

We reckon what retailers really see straight away are those two big curved claws and stubby legs. The shape and plushiness just means this is endlessly huggable and perfect for petting on-the-go. At 42cm from antennae to tail, this little yabbie is actually surprisingly portable.

We see shoppers walking up to us with kids cradling the Plush Yabbie - but that isn’t all there is to these fun animals! They’re quite popular in beach towns and can be used in display for teaching about local marine life too!

And if you want, you can tell shoppers that the Plush Yabbie’s short curly ‘shell’ means no pesky shedding or picking bits of fluff from underneath the toy - even after months or years of rough play. The top layer is all synthetic cotton so it dries quickly when washed by hand.
