Pot Sitter Bee Blue
Here’s one with a twist. Just about all of us have seen pot sitters with a wildlife theme, but this Bee Blue Pot Sitter is a real standout. It has these lovely delicate wings that are unglazed - which adds something soft and subtle that you rarely see in garden ceramics.
The stripes alternate between sandy beige and sky blue, which gives it a beautiful pop of colour without being overbearing. Most importantly, this item is handcrafted and hand finished so there are subtle little differences in the finish of each one that make them all unique - but this isn’t considered a fault. It's also made from sturdy ceramic which should hold up well outdoors (with some care).
We’ve found that pieces like this do really well as whimsical gifts for birthdays or just general housewarming presents. But this one also has a contemporary edge to it that isn’t always easy to come by so it could work for more modern homes too. These measure at 8.1x5.1x7.6cm so they’re compact without being so small they go unnoticed, and come with the standard disclaimer of “not perfect” thanks to their handcrafted nature!
