Reindeer Running

Reindeer running is a unique sign meant to prompt a jovial and auspicious mood on the observer. It is meant to capture the sheer strength of this efficient animal, which is oftentimes used as sleigh-puller, out-performing many of its counterparts on land. This animal is termed as being in velvet while new antlers grow, as skin, soft fur and blood vessels cover developing antlers. The reindeer rubs off the velvet against trees or rocks after drying up, revealing hardened bony core. It brings to life the Christmas spirit in many places all across the western world.
