We had a feeling the Rice Bowl Vine Lrg would be one of those pieces retailers just keep coming back to. Right off the bat, it’s the design - that simple white ceramic with soft blue vine detail is so lovely in person and works just as well for a casual noodle night as it does for a prettily arranged lunch. The bowl is 15x15x7cm, which is what we’d call pretty much the perfect serving size, and at that depth you get more than just rice in there - soup, salad, snacks, whatever fits. We love how these bowls sit slightly higher on that little base, it’s traditional but also feels really fresh. As far as styling goes, these are spot on in monochrome kitchens or homes with clean lines and timber features. They do hold their own against brighter palettes too - we tested them in our own office break room under very questionable fluorescent lighting and they looked amazing. This style has legs.
