For us, the real highlight of this chenille rug is that it manages to feel both contemporary and old-world at the same time. Maybe it's those geometric and floral motifs in blue, beige, cream and black - they're ever-so-slightly distressed in places so you get that 'weathered vintage' vibe without going full faded antique. And the short fringe does a lot to bring out the artisanal element. At 160x240cm, it's big enough for any lounge or living room centrepiece, but still subtle enough to work as a feature in a bedroom or guest room too.
