Square palm tree coasters make a good gift - and for some reason, they always do well in spring. Especially when you get those shoppers who come in looking for “tropical but tasteful”. Each one measures 10x10x.5cm, so they can be used under mugs as well as tumblers or glasses, and that makes them useful all year round. The fact that the illustrations are minimalistic works to their advantage too because you don’t have to commit to a tropical aesthetic to stock them at your shop.

Our S/4 Tropical Palm Coasters have got a real gentle way of catching attention - not all in-your-face, but the palms and banana trees in those delicate greens and browns do lend a certain sense of calm. Each one’s 10x10x.5cm, which is a great size for drinks both hot and cold, and they’re all made out of resin so they’re easy to wipe clean between use and do really well with repeated use.

One thing we really like about these is that alternating border pattern that runs around the coasters. You get the strong black-and-white stripes for more pop, or keep it quiet with the green-and-white ones, each palm sitting right in the centre of its little table.
