The Spreaders S/2 Elephant set - a pair of spreaders with a taste for the extraordinary. That’s what we thought when we first got to see these new ones come in. You get two of them in the box and even the gift box gives you an idea of how stately those elephants can be. We like how the pale olive green sits next to those muted reds and yellows. It’s all quite harmonious; it really brings out the brushed metal finish on those elephant handles.
Now, these are meant for cheeses or other soft spreads so you’ll want a cutting board or a tray with some range in thickness so that you can get under those slices. Just remember to hand wash them only, we don’t want that texture getting dulled out by a dishwasher.
We find that these Spreaders S/2 Elephants play really well with some darker woods - acacia or teak look beautiful next to that silvery matte finish on the handles.
