Stool Peacock Blue
Big, bold blues and a dazzling surface texture - this Capiz shell stool stands out for a reason. We do get asked for stools that have the effect of large aquarium pebbles or tropical fish scales in them, and this one does both - it’s why we keep coming back to it.
Each one is handmade, so you’re never getting two that are exactly the same. That’s part of their appeal, really, especially for shop floors where you want to show off something that isn’t seen anywhere else. We also like using these as side tables because you’d get very few places where a stool looks better than a table; the 35cm diameter gives us plenty of surface area while still making it usable as a proper stool. Or plinth. And with how much everyone’s getting into non-wooden materials at the moment, it ticks all the right boxes.
We’ve found that these don’t just stop at homes or living rooms or bedrooms. Offices are starting to use unique stools as focus spaces and informal chat areas - the popping blue makes it an easy recommendation in settings like those.
