Worry not for that new coats of varnish that has just begun to settle on your wooden table, or simply say goodbye to the fear of water patches on the wood when you land a hot bowl or a bowl of chilled dessert on the table - after all the most common of fear is that one tends to damage and scar the look of the polish with such extreme temperatures and the easiest protection comes in the form of trivet. Use this kind made with an eye on colour and helping lend your table or counter a pop of colour and pattern.

Made of ceramic and given a lower base of cork this delightful trivet comes in a blue and white colour imitating the tiles one would find in old Persian buildings. The gorgeous colour will liven up the space while the ceramic and cork will work hard to keep both hot and chilled bowls safe for the table surface. You could use this as much on your regular dining table as you could for cutting bread or meats. The length of this trivet is 20 cm while its width is all of 15 cm making it a rectangular shape. The trivet can be lifted from the slot for gripping it well. In fact, one could use it as a serving board as well in case one has a sliced bread or cake to offer. A wonderful addition for your table shoes setting could do with some old eastern flavour. Can be used in a pair and thus lend more of the flavour of the mid - east in this manner. Can be wiped clean with a damp cloth for reusing.
