Urn/ Vase Parga

It’s been a while since we saw a large vase that does “classic” quite this well. The Urn/Vase Parga is 22.5x22.5x35.5cm - more than big enough to make an impression in entryways, foyers, or halls - and has the softest finish you’ll see on a piece of pottery today with just a few horizontal ridges as accents around its body. And the matte, off-white surface goes with both natural textures and deeper tones for a very lived-in look that doesn’t need any complicated styling or layering to feel elegant and comforting at the same time.

Matte, textured, and a big part of our Mediterranean coastal range at the moment. This is the Urn/ Vase Parga. It comes in a slightly off-white colour - more cream than anything else - and some of the rougher ridges on the outside play into that old Greco-Roman urn vibe that Mediterranean interiors are known for. That’s also why we kept the finish matte. Rather than being shiny or glossy, this means the vase is left with a more rustic feel and some surface imperfections which only add to its charm. It measures 22.5x22.5x35.5cm so it’s quite large. Best off at floor level or as a centrepiece in a larger arrangement as it can draw some serious attention to itself. And unlike other ceramics with all their pretty details just painted or printed on, this one is sealed on the inside so it doesn’t feel tacky or rough when used with actual water and fresh plants as well as dried flowers or artificial ones for that matter.
