This kind of thing is still one of our most popular larger statement lights - the main draw is how much texture you get from the rawness of the material. We do not bother with getting them too neat and perfect during production. Not that they are messy, exactly - it is more about keeping those little variances in shape and colour to give a bit of real-life charm. Lighting like this does well in coastal homes for sure, but also boho interiors, Australian contemporary, all that. The relaxed dome shape is pretty classic but the natural seagrass weaving is an easy way to get a bit more character into a space. At 33x33x32cm it is a good size to hang over a dining table or kitchen island, or even in foyers with higher ceilings. It does come without a suspension cord (that would just be impossible with how many different light fittings we have in Australia) so make sure your buyers know that. Every piece has been woven by hand, and coloured with natural dyes, so you are going to find subtle differences between each pendant. That’s deliberate though - it adds an artisanal look instead of a cookie-cutter finish. We’ve also noticed that pendants with these more open weaves can make some interesting shadows on ceilings and walls when paired with brighter globes. If you want something more diffuse try paring back the lumens in the light globe or go for a softer yellow-orange glow.
