We have a soft spot for powder blue ceramics - especially when they come with vintage-inspired scallops. The Bowl Belle Salad Powder bowls are just that - except they also go one up by throwing in those straight vertical lines for a visually interesting approach to what could otherwise have been a more traditional look.
It’s the kind of piece you’d throw together with equally funky or bold serveware, but also something you’d keep tucked away to show off every now and then as an accent piece. The blue is pretty versatile and while it does bring out whatever’s inside the bowl, it isn’t overpowering on its own either. Our clients find that the salad bowl works well in urban-chic settings but looks right at home in maximalist settings too, so it’s a relatively safe bet if you’re planning on picking up some new serveware.
Best of all, each piece is unique - since these are hand-finished items, there may be some imperfections here and there. These aren’t faults but little reminders that they were made by an actual human being who loves making ceramics.
We recommend not placing these in the dishwasher, though - a hand wash is just fine.
