There’s nothing quite like ceramic and linen for a more natural, organic feel. Our Lamp Pithari Leg isn’t over the top in any way - it just gives you enough of that handmade look without trying too hard to be kitschy or…something else entirely. We personally prefer a good lamp in common areas or studies because they’re not the brightest things when they have shades this large, but they do add an earthy, comfortable layer to those spaces - and this one has a great neutral shade (beige) if you want something between boho chic and art deco.
While it’s marked for living rooms and bedrooms, it actually does surprisingly well as an accent on tables (side tables!), especially if you can balance it out with another similar piece. Even though there is a Mediterranean vibe here with those lovely amphora-inspired handles, we find that if you use neutral ceramics together - even wildly differently shaped ones! - the overall result is still beautifully cohesive.
