Sign Home House

This sign is a wonderful, rustic wood accent for open shelving, an entryway console, or anywhere that needs a little cosiness. It has a farmhouse feel with muted natural colours, raised wire script, and a distressed finish that feels right at home in relaxed, lived-in spaces. The raised white script adds dimension to the whole thing too - we’ve had plenty of retailers who say their customers are drawn to it in a display of similar items.

We’re honestly in love with this Sign Home House - it’s a small piece but it packs a punch. With dimensions of 24x4.5x11.5cm, the scale is really versatile and the soft pastel colouring works incredibly well with both modern and classic decor styles. We wanted to bring something in that spoke to Australian simplicity but still offered texture, and the combination of fir wood and iron here is a subtle standout. It’s warm, coastal, but not kitschy at all. The flowing wire script looks organic, just enough pop off the washed natural timber to draw attention. And that little house shape at one end - it almost looks like beach huts you’d see along Victorian coasts or maybe even a classic Queenslander roofline. Someone could bring this into their home and put it in an entryway, or as part of a shelf vignette, or even on a desk at work to add warmth. The pared-back palette means someone could blend it with other muted decor easily, or use it as the statement piece in their vignette. It’s also robust - being made from quality fir wood and iron - so we know our retailers’ customers will get years out of it, even if they’re moving it around to different spaces every few months as people love to do. This is the kind of thing we imagine customers picking up when they’re after “that one finishing touch” for a space. It isn’t generic or mass produced looking. It gives off this feeling of having been picked up at some boutique holiday spot because someone couldn’t resist bringing just a little home back from their travels. We really can’t say enough good things about this one!
